Soulmates – Episode 1

“An hour before school starts, I can still make an appointment…” I said thinking out loud, hi my name is Katerina but I go by Kat. Here I am by the bus stop thinking whether or not to ditch school.

However knowing my parents, they’d drag me to school and ground me. They are obsessed with the soulmate thing and it disgusts me… I don’t know about you, but it’s complete rubbish to me.

I took a couple steps back and bumped into someone, hearing a ‘whoa’ and a thud I turned around.

“Oh my gosh are you okay?” Now I did feel bad seeing this boy on the ground! I reached my hand out to help him up.

“Gee thanks,” He said with a hint of sarcasm to the tone.

“Sorry about that, I was lost in my own universe for a minute” I said turning my gaze away from him.

“It’s fine, I tend to do the same… Name’s AJ” He said introducing himself.

“Kat, nice to meet you and once again sorry about that” I said back, I’ve never seen him around here before, maybe he goes to the central high school up north.

“My brother is over there waiting, gotta go” He muttered and left to the waiting car.

 

*At school*

That blonde girl is my best friend Ashley, and the vice president of my little school club The Outsiders which I’ll explain to you later.

“Coach is having me stay late after school for volleyball, so I left the agenda for tonight in your locker” She explained to me as I got to my locker.

“Oh no you have to miss a meeting, just drop the little rebel act girls…” Said the devil in heels, the girl on the left is my enemy Liz Mary Grace… She’s popular, found her soulmate, and likes to push around us little guys.

“Kat I swear one day I will teach her a lesson!” Ashley retorted, I never really thought of revenge, let her have her fun because Ashley and I are seniors.

“Let it go Ashley, I’ll meet you in homeroom in a minute” I told her, she walked off to our first class. Now finally I can get my books…

“Oh, um hi again…” Said a voice, I turned my head slightly and saw AJ next to me… New student… Great.

“Um hey…”
