2 Year Anniversary + Photoshoot!

Hello, my people! July 15th marks the 2nd year anniversary of my blog, so I decided to take Rebecca out to the park for a photoshoot.

I can’t believe that it’s been two years since I started blogging, originally it started out as a fun hobby, now it’s a way for me to express my creativity.

I’m glad that 27 of you have stuck around this long, although my rants about existentialism have been projected onto Molly, you’ll see many aspects of my personality shine through.

I would still like it if you guys told me how I’m doing at this blogging thing, so once again do not be afraid to comment or talk to me! Get to know me, ask for certain types of posts, let me entertain you! Haha

I have some more photo shoots planned for the summer, and little stories planned, so please stick around and have some fun.

Guess who’s back? Back again

Hello my people! After being gone for about 7 months I had made a video giving an explanation and some things I plan on doing next, sadly I couldn’t upload it because I don’t have a premium plan. 

Now I’m back! November took a huge toll on my mental health after some things happened, I needed some time to get myself back together so I took a break from everything. Thank you for sticking around even though I haven’t posted!

 

I have plans for some photoshoots and I will be continuing Soulmates, I will be starting my senior year this coming fall so posts may slow down then too.

I do not plan on keeping a posting schedule this year, because I found it causing me more stress to keep one the last two years.

Stayed tuned for some relaxing photoshoots coming up! I’m glad to be back and posting, I’m very grateful of those who have stuck around during my hiatus 🙂

Guess who’s back, back again!

Hey internet, apologize for the long hiatus you know how life and school can get. During my long break I learned some important things, one being you should take a break from things and focus on yourself.

This way you are healthy, your caught up on school work or a job, and you feel pretty good about yourself. Sometimes it can be hard finding the motivation to do something as easy as a little blog post, and that’s okay, you shouldn’t feel obligated to do something everyday for so long, it’s okay to take a break, everyone can understand this 🙂

As for me I have had a lot of stuff go down in the last couple months, and still through all the stormy days I would feel like I should post something to keep my followers happy. If you ever find yourself in that situation take a breather and a nice break to focus on yourself. If you have troubles like that or just need to find a reason to take a break, don’t hesitate to contact me! It’s alright to focus on your own needs.

Thanks to everyone who tunes in to read, I’ll be slowly getting some more blog posts up soon for the holidays!

Soulmates – Episode 8

We let her in and she explained why she wanted to help us. She broke up with her boyfriend, who turned out wasn’t her real soulmate.

She wanted to start fresh, she wanted to join the club because she thinks she’d been played from the soulmate story. I wasn’t fully buying it though.

“Prove that your on our side” I asked.

“This is the necklace he gave me, I’ve treasured this thing forever… I’ll burn it” she said, it shocked me, everyone always saw her with that necklace.

“That’s how serious I am about this, I’ll never believe a silly story like that ever again” she told us, and we were convinced.

“Fine, your in”

“Thank you, thank you so much I owe you everything for this” she jumped up and hugged me, I patted her back.

~~~ The next day~~~

We had Aj over to let him in on what was about to go down. He was skeptical of course, I wouldn’t blame him.

“Give her a chance, if Kat trusts her than you should also” Ashley explained to him.

“Fine I will” he agreed.

“Great, once you guys head to school Liz will talk to the principal and ‘fix’ this” I told him, he was about to walk out when I grabbed his arm.

“Everything will work out I swear, I’m not going into this without a plan” I told him, Ashley brought Liz on over.

The gang is here, we are ready to move

I believe everything will work out

“Go team!” we all shouted,

Then I felt a tingle in my wrist, almost like an itch… It was the weirdest thing.

I turned my head and saw Aj was staring at me, what’s been going on lately…

“Sir, I have some business to discuss”

Soulmates – Episode 7

“Come on Liz! We all need her back, you are the only one with enough power!” Ashley begged of her, which I didn’t think was part of the plan.

“Look Ashley, some of us here actually do have a soulmate and I’m not going to ruin mine to save your stupid friend! She got what she deserved” Liz said back to her, we needed a back up plan at this point, and I didn’t want to get Aj involved more then he already was.

Then she walked away. After school Ashley came back to my house so we could figure out a new plan.

Unless there was another way we could get Liz to help…

“So then she walked away to her boyfriend” she recapped the story for me, I totally believed it. However I wondered why Liz still treated him like a king after the dance.

“Who else do we know that’s either dumb or has power” I pondered… Those types of people would be my only way back.

“How is Aj handling the club?” I asked her, I missed them all and I can’t imagine what’s been happening without me.

“Things are tough, the principal wants to shut it down so we are trying to get more members” She explained, I felt a lump in my throat. They couldn’t shut it down…

*Knock Knock* Someone was at my door, but who?

“I’ll get it, it could be Aj” she said as she walked to the door. He should be doing the after school activity though, so who else would be here?

We heard sniffling, and when she opened that door I couldn’t believe my eyes.

“I came to apologize, I’m ready to help Kat” Liz said, with puffy red eyes, I didn’t know what happened. But it was so bad she wants to help me

I’ve gotten my ticket back in.

I wanted to start my blog because I have a passion for creating stories and having my dolls act them out, I also love taking photos of them and thought a blog was perfect! Plus I could share my stories with other people. 🙂

I came up with my blogs name from trying to be original, creative, and to the point. Besides, this blog is about an American girls life 😉

It’s okay to miss a posting day or receive criticism, I’ve been doing this for almost a year and what other people say about my blog can really help me improve it.

4. Who was your very first follower?

Leela was my first follower! She has been there for me since day one ❤

For a very long time, I don’t think I’ll get tired of this anytime soon 🙂

Soulmates-Episode 6

So that was that, my parents were out of town so they didn’t know yet, I couldn’t go to another school and I didn’t want to anyway. Ashley came over the next day, we had to think of something.

“You could just enjoy no school for the rest of your life” she listed the seventh idea.

“I want to get my diploma, not an option” I told her with another excuse.

“They have been waiting to kick me out, just now they a reasonable excuse” I told her, yes I would enjoy this normally but I have friends there and a club of people who need me. I can’t just leave them behind.

“I’m fine running the club, but Aj’s acting differently since yesterday morning, the club needs their president and he needs to see you” she told me. I needed to find a way back inside to finish my work there, I’m not going to stop anytime soon.

“Who else do we know that could be useful” I asked, then it hit me.

“Ashley, there’s one person who could actually get me back in for graduation” this was a stupid idea, but it would work 100%

“Wait, I know what your thinking..” she finally caught on…

“It will work, we just need bait” I told her. I had a few more ideas to how we could get it, I just need another persons help.

“You and Aj meet me at the park tomorrow, I’m sure it will work. Tomorrow at school you talk to her and that’s how we get started” I instructed, I never thought I would ever do this, but it’s for the best.

“So your sure it’ll help?” she asked me, looking off to the side she was trying to see a fault in my plan.

“Absolutely”

“Liz will get me back into school, she’s my golden ticket”

Restoring mini doll hair! – Tutorial

Hello peoples! Today I have three Ag mini dolls who need some TLC, so I’m going to show you how I clean their hair.

I got them from Ebay, and they are before the Beforever reboot (From left to right, Kit, Samantha and Rebecca).

Lets start with Rebecca! Her poor frizzy tangled hair 😦

Since the mini’s hair is a lot like Barbie or Monster High doll hair, we can use a barbie brush for them like this:

If you don’t want to use one, you can use the Ag brush for them too.

I brushed her hair thoroughly, removing the tangles and leaving none behind 😉

Looking a lot better after a good brushing! Now onto the next step..

Get some lukewarm water (you can do a downy dunk as well),

Remove the dolls clothing, her body can get wet but I like to keep it at a minimum.

You can tie up her hair for a slow dunk to get her ends first. Then take her hair out for a full dunk.

Take some downy and wash out all of the gunk!!

Then rinse her hair!

While her hair is still wet, brush out any remaining tangles or knots.

Then just dry her hair a little with a towel, just so she won’t drip water everywhere 😉

Then I braided her hair for that wave and let her sit off to the side.

Time for the others! Just repeat the steps I used for Rebecca!

They are all done now, I’m gonna have them sleep out here tonight, in the morning we’ll see how they are!
